The Kanguru USB Duplicator’s asynchronous process allows you to add and remove Target USB devices as they are completed, without having to wait for the current job to finish. Kanguru’s Asynchronous Copy process is unique in that there are no performance sacrifices or capacity limitations. The setting Async Mode allows you to turn the other functions within the duplicator Main Menu into an asynchronous version of that process.
The options for Async Mode are as follows:
| Off | Asynchronous modes for the device are disabled except of the default Main Menu option Async Copy. Note: This is the default setting. |
| On | When this option is on, the Main Menu options for Compare and Copy and Compare turn to Async Compare and Async Copy and Compare. When in this state the functions . |
To change the Async Mode setting:
1. Power on the duplicator.
2. From the Main Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Setup.
3. When Setup is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu.
4. You will be able to access the Setup menu and from here you can use the Up or Down buttons to switch menu options.
5. After locating Async Mode, press the ENT button to enter this option.
6. You can use the Up or Down buttons to switch the Async Mode options.
7. After locating the option, you would like to use, press the ENT button and you will be brought back to the Setup menu.
8. To proceed back to the Main Menu, press the ESC button. This will prompt you with a message informing you that settings are being saved. Once this process is completed, you will be back to the Main Menu.
