Device Info will display general information regarding the USB devices connected to the duplicator that time. You can use the Up and Down buttons to navigate through the USB ports.
To utilize the Display Info feature:
1. Power on the duplicator.
2. After the duplicator has fully booted, insert the USB drives that you are looking to measure the speed of. Note: These drives can be connected to any ports on the duplicator.
3. From the Main Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Utilities.
4. When Utilities is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu.
5. You will be able to access the Utilities menu and from here you can use the Up or Down buttons to switch menu options.
6. After locating Device Info, press the ENT button to enter this option.
Note: If you have all the USB ports on the duplicator full, the duplicator will start the process automatically for you. If however you do not have a USB drive connected to every port you will see a message stating X Detect, Go? (x represents the drives detected) and will need to press ENT to continue.
7. After a moment, your duplicator will state the information that it is able to gather from the connected drives and you press the Up and Down buttons to switch which drive details you are viewing.
Based on the image above, here is the information that is displayed:
Socket 1 | In the image the Socket number is 1. This represents the port on the duplicator which the information is for. |
59088MB | This is the total capacity of the drive flash storage (represented in MB). |
N/A | This will provide the manufacture of the USB drive. If N/A appears (as it does here), that only means that the drive does not provide that information. |
8. If you press the ENT button on any drive you will be shown additional information for the USB selected.
Based on the image above, here is the information that is displayed:
Socket 1 | In the image the Socket number is 1. This represents the port on the duplicator which the information is for. |
[1e1d-1107] | The information in the brackets represents the Vendor ID (VID) and Product ID (PID) of the particular drive that is being read from. In this example, the VID is 1e1d and the PID is 1107. |
FAT32 | This provides the current format of the drive that is connected to that specific port. |
5MB/ 57GB | This indicates the total amount of used space on the drive as well the total capacity of storage space on the drive. In this example, there is 5MB of used space and can hold a total 57GB. |
9. After you reviewing the drives information you can press the ESC button which will bring you back to the Utilities menu.
10. To exit back to the Main Menu, process the ESC button once again.
