Delete Users provides the ability to delete an existing user account. During this process, there is a prompt to select the existing account to be removed. Note: User account “Admin” is the administrative account and cannot be deleted.
To access Delete Users:
1. Power on the duplicator.
2. After the duplicator has fully booted and have logged into the duplicator as the admin (if Password on Bootup is enabled), from the Main Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Manage Accounts.
3. When Manage Accounts is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu. You will need to enter your password to gain access to this menu. Note: The default admin password is 0000.
4. Once the correct password has been entered, you will be able to access the Manage Accounts menu and from here you can use the Up or Down buttons to switch menu options.
5. After locating Delete Users, press the ENT button to enter this option.
Note: If the Admin account is the only account on the device, you will receive a message stating “No account can be deleted. Press ENT to Cont.”.
6. When in the Delete Users option, you will need to select the user account you would like to delete. Use the Up or Down buttons to change the selected user and when the user you are looking to delete appears, press the ENT button.
7. Once selected, you will need to confirm the selection by pressing the ENT button again. This will delete the user from the device and bring you back to the Manage Accounts menu.
8. To exit back to the Main Menu, press the ESC button once again.
