For troubleshooting purposes, sometimes Kanguru will request a log be provided to us. Output Log to File will save a digital log file of the actions performed by the duplicator since it was last powered on.
To output a log to a USB:
1. Power on the duplicator.
2. After the duplicator has fully booted, from the Main Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Utilities.
3. When Utilities is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu.
4. You will be able to access the Utilities menu and from here you can use the Up or Down buttons to switch menu options.
5. After locating Output Log to File, press the ENT button to enter this option.
6. You will be prompted to insert a drive to the bottom most port on the right side and press ENT button to continue.
7. The drive will be automatically formatted to FAT32 and when completed the log file will be saved to the drive.
8. After the log is saved to the USB drive, you will be prompted to select the ENT button which will bring you back to the Utilities menu.
9. To exit back to the Main Menu, press the ESC button once again.
After completing those steps, the USB drive should contain a text file named USB_LOG.txt can then be provided to Kanguru.
Note: The log file does not contain any information on what data is being duplicated but rather the operations being performed.
