Not all storage devices have identical storage capacity, even when the capacity shown is identical. Normally, the capacity of your Target drives is required to be of equal or greater size than the Source drive so that all data can be copied over without loss. By defining Size Tolerance, the duplicator will allow the Target flash devices to be less than the capacity of the Source drive by the percentage specified.
The setting Size Tolerance has several options to choose from:
| Off | When this option is selected, if the target drive(s) contain less capacity then the Source drive the duplication process will fail. Note: This is the default setting. |
| 1%-5% | When you select a percentage between 1% and 5% the duplicator will take this into consideration when attempting to use a Target USB drive which contains less capacity then the Source drive. If the Target drive(s) is still out of range then the duplication process will fail. |
| Ignore | When this option is selected, the duplicator will ignore if the Target drives have less capacity then the Source drive and proceed with the duplication process to the best of its ability. Note: As this could cause duplicates to be inaccurate, it is not recommended. |
