When enabled, Port #2 is assigned as the dedicated source port for Compare ONLY. Port #1 is still the source port for Copy and Port #2 is the source port for Compare. The function for this mode is to make sure the USB connected to the Source port is not corrupted since the likely of having both source corrupt are unlikely. Note: In order to perform this properly, you must have a duplicate of the source USB drive that is known to be valid.
The options for Dual Source Mode are as follows:
| Off | This feature is disabled and the first target port (Port #2) would be used as a target drive. Note: This is the default setting. |
| On | When this option is on, the the first target port (Port #2) works only as port for comparing. |
To change the Dual Source Mode setting:
1. Power on the duplicator.
2. From the Main Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Setup.
3. When Setup is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu.
4. You will be able to access the Setup menu and from here you can use the Up or Down buttons to switch menu options.
5. After locating Dual Source Mode, press the ENT button to enter this option.
6. You can use the Up or Down buttons to switch the Dual Source Mode options.
7. After locating the option, you would like to use, press the ENT button and you will be brought back to the Setup menu.
8. To proceed back to the Main Menu, press the ESC button. This will prompt you with a message informing you that settings are being saved. Once this process is completed, you will be back to the Main Menu.
