The Copy and Compare function combine both the Copy function and the Compare function into one convenient process. The function will first run the Copy process and then automatically run the compare function after the copy has completed to ensure that the data was duplicated accurately.
To perform a Copy and Compare:
1. Power on the duplicator.
2. After the duplicator has fully booted, insert the USB drive that you are looking to make duplicates of into the Source port and insert your blank USB drive(s) into the Target port(s).
3. From the Main Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Copy and Compare.
4. When Copy and Compare is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu. Note: If you have Brief Copy selected this will appear as Copy+Compare (Brief). If you have Full Copy selected, this will appear as Copy+Compare (Full). To change this setting, you can use the Copy Mode option.
Note: If you have all the USB ports on the duplicator full, the duplicator will start the process automatically for you. If however you do not have a USB drive connected to every port you will see a message stating X Detect, Go? (x represents the drives detected) and will need to press ENT to continue.
5. After a moment, the Copy and Compare process will start.
6. After the Copy process completes, the Compare process starts automatically.
7. When the process is completed, you will see a standard Pass/Fail prompt with a system of Remove All Devices.
8. When you remove the drive, you will then be prompted to press ENT to continue. At this point, if you have more drives that you would like to copy, you can insert them into the Target ports and press ENT to run the process once again. If at this time you do not wish to run the process again, you can press ESC which will bring you back to the Main Menu.
