Defender device does not show up under My Computer with the correct title

My Defender device does not show up under My Computer with the correct title. Instead of Defender, I see a CD-Drive and no icon.

Sometimes when Windows detects a new USB device, it does so incorrectly. Windows writes specific values into the registry defining the properties of your USB flash drive. Often times all that is needed is to clean up a few registry values related to removable storage devices so that Windows can reload them.
