When I attempt to run KanguruLock, it returns the following error messages, "FDMan Execute FD.exe error!" and "Failure to initiate resources Error code #2"
Your anti-virus product is detecting the file "FD.exe" as a potential threat and deleting it from your PC. The data on your drive is intact and fine, you just need to reinstall the KanguruLock files on your PC.
To reinstall the KanguruLock files on your PC:
- Update your anti-virus program with the latest virus definition list.
- Uninstall KanguruLock
- Reinstall using the "KanguruLock.exe" file on the drive, or the "KanguruLock_Setup.exe" file.
Note: If you are reinstalling using the "KanguruLock_Setup.exe" file, you should keep the secure drive in tact when prompted. If you used the MSI file to install originally, you will need to uninstall/reinstall that.
Once KanguruLock has been reinstalled you will be able to access the secure partition on your drive.
Please contact Kanguru Solutions Technical Support at 508-376-4245 and inform us of which anti-virus product you are using so that we can contact your anti-virus program manufacturer and have them remove "FD.exe" from their virus definition list.
