Can I clone a smaller capacity Source drive to larger capacity Target drives? | Yes, use Resize copy to clone a smaller capacity Source to larger capacity Targets. However, all Targets drives must be the same size (i.e. you can clone a 20GB Source to five 100GB Targets using Resize copy). |
Can I clone to Targets of various brands simultaneously? | Yes, the machine is able to clone hard drives of different brands as long as they are the same capacity. |
Can drives with different RPM speeds be cloned together? | Yes, the duplicator can adjust to hard drives with different RPMs. |
How does the duplicator handle multiple partitions on the Source drive? | The machine will auto-detect how many partitions in the source hard drive and then copy it, but you are unable to select a specific partition to copy. |
How does the duplicator handle multiple partitions of varying formats on the Source drive? | The machine will analyze the File System of the Source drive before it begins cloning. |
Can the duplicator clone operating systems such as UNIX and OS/2? | Yes, use the Disk copy operation to copy any operating system. |
Can the duplicator defragment a partition? | No, this must be done directly by the operating system of your PC. |
Can the Duplicator copy Encrypted HDD’s? | The Kanguru Clone is able to copy a limited number of encrypted HDD types through Disk copy. |
