The SET WRITE PATTERN setting is used to define the data that you want written to all sectors of your drives during a Disk Erase operation. The Write Pattern can be set to 00, RM (random), AA, A5, 5A, C9, FF, E5 or F6. The default setting is 00.
To change the setting Set Write Pat:
- Power on the duplicator.
- From the Main Copy Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Setup.
- When Setup is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu.
- You will be able to access the Setup menu and from here you can use the Up or Down buttons to switch menu options.
- After locating Set Write Pat, press the ENT button to enter this option.
- Press the Up or Down buttons to change the Set Write Pat setting.
- After locating the Set Write Pat setting that you are looking to use, press the ENT button to save the setting.
- Press the ESC button and you will be brought back to the Setup menu.
- To proceed back to the Main Menu, press the ESC button.
