CMD TIMEOUT allows you to set the number of commands the duplicator will send to a non-responsive drive. If the duplicator experiences any issues when attempting to communicate with an attached drive, the duplicator can send 1 to 9 unreturned ATA commands to the drive before it errors out.
To change the CMD Time Out:
- Power on the duplicator.
- From the Main Copy Menu press the Up or Down buttons until you see Setup.
- When Setup is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu.
- You will be able to access the Setup menu and from here you can use the Up or Down buttons to switch menu options.
- After locating CMD Time Out, press the ENT button to enter this option.
- Press the Up or Down buttons to change the CMD Time Out rate.
- After locating the CMD Time Out rate that you are looking to use, press the ENT button to save the setting.
- Press the ESC button and you will be brought back to the Setup menu.
- To proceed back to the Main Menu, press the ESC button.
