Can I use the Kanguru mini Clone (KCLONE-1HD-SATA) to copy the contents of my source drive to a larger capacity target hard drive?
The Kanuru miniClone cannot natively resize a hard drive. This means that when you use the miniClone to copy the contents from a source drive to a destination drive with a larger capacity than the source, afterwards there will be an unallocated partition on the destination drive.
If you have access to a computer that is operating on Windows Vista, Windows 7, you can resize your hard drive manually.
In the following example, we will walk through the process of copying the contents of an 80GB source hard drive to a 160GB target hard drive and then resizing the 160GB hard drive.
Resizing using Windows Vista or Windows 7
1. In Windows, click on the Start menu. From the Start menu, right-click on Computer and then click on Manage.

2. The Computer Management console appears. In the left pane, under the Storage category, click on Disk Management. In the bottom-right pane, locate your hard drive. It will appear with a healthy primary partition, and an unallocated partition.

3. Right-click on the healthy partition and select Extend Volume.

4. The Extend Volume Wizard appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Extend Volume Wizard.

Once you have completed the Extend Volume Wizard, your hard drive will have been resized. It will appear as a single healthy partition.
Mac users can also resize a partition in a similar manner using the Disk Utility application. For more details, please refer to the following article published on about.com: http://macs.about.com/od/applications/ss/diskutilitysize_3.htm
