Erase deletes all information on any hard drive connected to the side of the duplicator labeled TARGET. Data is erased by writing zeros into each sector on the hard drive.
CAUTION! The Erase operation will delete all data and file systems on any attached target hard drives. Make sure that you back up any important data before executing the Erase operation. Only hard drives connected to TARGET will be erased. Any hard drives connected to the side of the duplicator labeled SOURCE will not be affected by the Erase operation.
To Erase a hard drive:
1. From the Main Menu, tap the SET button to navigate to Erase.
2. Connect your hard drive to the side of duplicator labeled TARGET. Tap the RUN button to begin the Erase process. The following screen will be displayed:
3. Once the Erase process has completed, the following screen will be displayed:
Tap the SET button to view the total erase time.
