In order to perform the steps described below, please make sure you have the following dependencies installed:
1. qt5-qttranslations
2. redhat-rpm-config
To install qt5-qttranslations, you need to run the command:
To install redhat-rpm-config, you need to run the command: sudo dnf install redhat-rpm-config
To install Opal Commander on RHEL:
1. Download Opal Commander from our support site and extract the files into a single directory.
2. Open Terminal and navigate to the location the files were extracted to. In the example shown in the image, the located is /Desktop/Opal Commander. You may be able to right-click in that directory and select “Open in Terminal” to be directed to the location automatically.
3. Run the command sudo rpm -i *
4. Opal Commander should now be installed on your system and you should see this listed under your applications.
