The LightScribe Template Labeler software returns the following error message when burning LightScribe labels, "Error 4231: An internal LightScribe System Software (LSS) error has occurred with the LightScribe service. Please restart your computer and try your label again."
This error occurred because you have limited administrative privileges. Please run the LightScribe software while logged in as an administrator.
If you are using Windows Vista or 7, you can run the application as an administrator from a non-administrator account. To run as an administrator:
- Right-click the LightScribe Template Labeler application icon
- Select "Run as administrator" from the menu.
